Privacy policy

spilll.me is operated by Tripurari Jee. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect
- Your handle. The name in your link.
- A hash of your owner token. Not the token itself. The token stays with you, saved in your browser on your device.
- Notes. The text a sender writes.
- Optional hints. The text a sender adds as a hint. It is hidden from the box owner until a verified payment for that note.
- A hashed sender key. Made from the sender's IP address network and the handle. We use it only for rate limits and for blocks. It is never shown to the box owner and is never used to create or reveal a hint.
- Reports. When an owner reports a note, we keep it for review.
- Payment records. If you pay to unlock a hint, we keep the Razorpay order and payment ids, the amount and the currency. Razorpay processes the payment. We never see your card number, UPI PIN or other payment secrets.
We do not ask senders or owners for a name, email or phone number to use spilll.me.
How we use it
- To run your box and deliver notes to you
- To filter abuse, apply rate limits and blocks, and review reports
- To process hint unlocks and refunds
Who processes it
spilll.me is hosted on Cloudflare. Payments are processed by Razorpay under its own privacy policy. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Notes stay until the owner deletes them or the box is removed.
- Notes held for review that nobody reported expire after 7 days.
- Reported notes are kept for review until we act on them.
- Payment records are kept as long as needed for refunds and the law.
Your choices
- Owners can delete any note in their inbox.
- To remove your handle and its notes, email hello@spilll.me with your handle. We may ask you to show you own the box before we remove it.
Age
spilll.me is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
